A test of rented cars at six popular European resorts conducted by the German automotive union ADAC demonstrated that every forth car offered for rent had significant malfunctions and each tenth auto was dangerous for driving. The main malfunctions were detected in steering control, tire state and wheel discs of the tested cars. But the electrics and lights in the majority cases were in excellent state.
